Random-Access Memory (RAM)

The RAM or Random Access Memory is what allows a computer to have many applications and programs at the same time.

For example...
When you have lots of apps running on your phone at the same time, and your phone starts lagging, that is the RAM hard at work. And yes, phones are computers and have these components too.

In the picture, the RAM is 4 induvidual "sticks" as they are called. These ram sticks can be on a margin from 8gb to 32gb for the most recent and afordable ones, most common being the 8gb.
