Fat Bear Week is an annual online tournament in Alaska's Katmai National Park and Preserve where the public votes for the fattest brown bear, celebrating their success at gorging on salmon to prepare for winter hibernation, highlighting survival and the healthy ecosystem of Brooks River. The 2025 winner was a brown bear, nicknamed "Chunk"
