This is an explination of how specific parts on the plane work and what they do.
Wings
The most striaght forward to undestand part is the wings, simply what they do is generate lift to carry the weight of everything off the ground.
Verticle and Horizontal stabalizers
These are the small wings on the tail of the plane, they keep the plane stable during flight, hence the name, if you've ever played darts, then these work the same as the fins on a dart or arrow. the surface makes the air going past the stabalizer stay in a straight path , which makes the plane stay stable and straight. The verticle stabalizer keeps it straight side to side, while the horizontal stabalizer keeps it stright up and down.
Rudder, Elevator, and Aileron
These parts all control the movement of the plane. The rudder controls the yaw, or side to side motion, the elevator controls pitch, or the up and down motion, the Aileron controls roll, or the amount the body is tilted sideways.
The Fuselage
This is the main body of the plane, it carries passengers, cargo, fuel, and the pilots. It holds all of the parts of the plane together and holds all of the controls to the plane.
