United States Military
The United States Military, established in 1775 with the creation of the Continental Army, is tasked with defending the nation, protecting its interests, and supporting allies worldwide. Today, it consists of six branches: Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Space Force, and Coast Guard.

Mission & Core Functions

Army
- Oldest and largest branch, founded June 14, 1775.

- Operates on seas and oceans to ensure freedom of navigation and global reach.
- Motto: "Forged by the Sea."

Marine Corps
- Founded November 10, 1775.
- Known for rapid-response amphibious operations and expeditionary warfare.
- Motto: "Semper Fidelis" (Always Faithful).

Air Force
- Established September 18, 1947 as a separate branch.
- Focuses on air, space, and cyberspace operations.
- Motto: "Aim High... Fly-Fight-Win."

Space Force
- Established December 20, 2019.
- Protects U.S. interests in space, including satellites and communications.
- Motto: "Semper Supra" (Always Above).

Coast Guard
- Established August 4, 1790.
- Handles maritime safety, security, and law enforcement.
- Motto: "Semper Paratus" (Always Ready).
