The 1990's Era
Changes: The 1990's era started to crack down more on physicality of the players. Some of the rules they added to stop the physicality was the flagrent foul rule and hand checking. Flagrent foul: Established a more severe penalty system for overly physical fouls, differentiating them from common fouls and discouraging rough play, a shift from the previous era's intensity. Hand-Chekcing Ban: Defenders were restricted from using forearms or hands to impede offensive players in the frontcourt.
Popular players and teams: This era had a lot of really good players of all time for example Micheal Jordan, John stockton, Patrick Ewing, and David Robinson. John Stockton is one of the greatest pg and passers of all time, and Patrick Ewing and David Robinson are top 8 big men of all time.
